A Thanksgiving Prayer By: Kelli Trotman Mandy Sims Lisa Ardoin This is just a little section to share the good things of God from our point of view. We say thanks to Him for his mercy and love. This month is a time for thanksgiving, so we chose to give thanks to our God above. He is always there to play that special role in our hearts. We thank him for being our father, mother, friend, and warrior. He blesses us with propriety and peace, but most of all we thank Him for choosing us as vessels to help the lost souls find Him. Although we sometimes struggle and become weak when faced with the temptations and pressures in the world today, He gives us strength to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and continue to STAND up and fight for what we believe in. He provides us with the armor of his word and gives us victory throughout it all. So on this day, we pause from our jobs, activities, and even from our own thoughts and desires. For one moment, we fall to our knees, look to the sky and pray: Thank you God. Thanks for giving the world your only son so we could be forgiven of our sins. Thanks for giving us another chance to live with you in an everlasting paradise. For making me the person I am and blessing me with the gifts you have for me, thank you. Amen
